Julie king, principal
Julie King is a watercolor artist and stationer based in Charleston, South Carolina. Known for her whimsical illustrations and signature handwriting, she brings a unique perspective to each new collaboration, but especially to luxury wedding stationery. Her passion for art started as a young child, and she holds both a Bachelors Degree in Painting and a Masters Degree in Fine Art. She has worked as a creative in the wedding stationery industry for over 20 years. Julie's work has been published in Over the Moon, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, Carats & Cake, the Knot, and Style Me Pretty.
carolin knight, production manager
With a background in Management, Production and Product Design, Carolin brings a new vision to production and assembly at Julie King Studio. With a career in bookbinding, Carolin feels right at home amongst paper, paint and ribbon.
An entrepreneurial spirit motivates her to constantly learn new skills, from furniture building and metal-work to fine hand embroidery. Recently moving back to Charleston with her husband keeps her busy exploring new finds in the Charleston of their childhood, enjoying sea-air, good music and great food.
Callie Webster, senior graphic designer
A born and raised southern gal, Callie’s love for photography and design runs deep. With her Bachelors in Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina, Callie attended each graphic design, marketing, photography and creative strategy class with a strong purpose and passion. After graduating in 2014, she made her way through the creative world in Charleston, from Creative Director to Marketing Specialist, Callie strives to bring that same momentum and knowledge to Julie King Studio.
